i don't understand very well what they do myself
but they take a psionic, one powerful enough to power a spaceship
they erase their personality, program them into obedience
usually reinforced by pain if they disobey or rebel in any way...
they operate them to make them compatible with the ship
and install them as...a sort of battery and computer navigation system
it's one of the worst horrors of the empire
and there are many of those, i can tell you
i don't know how they got their hands on psii
he's from a long time after i am
when i was last home he was still with us and completely fine
now he doesn't even know me

it's b33n very hard knowing what to do for him
he cares so little for his own comfort like this
he thinks he's of no consequence and it's so hard to s33
not that he ever was very fussy about himself, but he did have preferences
strong ones, about certain things
and he was proud of who and what he is
we used to argue about everything, but we cared about each other a lot

and in a lot of ways he's the reason psii and i ended up so close
