[ Drift will be waiting. ]

[It's raining, like always. By the time Stanley finds the place he's a bit damp, and shivering. He's got a school bag with him, his important things most likely. He's also picked up a pastry box somewhere along the way. Is that...a cake?]

It's kinda soggy, but I figured a robodude wouldn't care.

[weapabilities]

[ Well well, look what the turbofox dragged in. This kid looks worse for the wear. Drift rises from his place at his robot-sized table and crouches down. ]

Hey there. You must be my new tenant. You look uh... a bit. Wet.

[lazyinlove]

Yeah. Think I went the wrong way a little bit.

[And it's raining. It's always raining. He crinkles his nose, apparently in distaste, but then he sneezes. Hard enough to nearly drop the cake. He only recovers it because of a lucky forward stumble.]

You probably don't have a towel, huh?

[weapabilities]

[ The sneeze seems to startle Drift who takes a step back and fixes him with an alarmed look. ]

You're backfiring. You should get that looked at.

[ He doesn't have a towel, no... but he pulls the makeshift poncho from his shoulders, it's a blanket after all, and drops it on the boy. ]

How's that?

[That's good, actually. Stanley sets the cake down on the nearest flat surface and hunches his shoulders, pulling the blanket tightly around himself. Mmm, warmth. That's a thing he's been craving. The "backfiring" comment gets a chuckle out of him, though it comes out a little gurgly.]

Yeah, I think I'll live now.

[weapabilities]

Good, then.

[ He stands back up and crosses his arms. ]

Make yourself comfortable, this is your home now. When you are ready you can choose a room.

The upstairs one.

[Yoy said fire pole dude he heard you.]

There are many. You can have whichever one suits you.

Okay.

[He pulls the blanket a little tighter and starts toward the stairs. Maybe there's a bed in one of them. A bed would be good.]

[ Drift follows, and the stairs open up to a large hall, lined wth doors. At the end of the hall is the fire pole. ]

Most of the rooms are kind of furnished.

Kind of.

Anything with a bed?

[He doesn't care about much else. The full bedroom set would be kinda wasted on him anyway. He didn't own much stuff yet.]

Most of the rooms have bedding but no bed frame. I hope that's okay.

[ He's maanged to collect some mattresses, pillows and blankets at least. ]

Yeah, close enough.

[Not like he's never slept in the floor anyway. Beds are just nicer if you happen to get the option.]

Sorry it's a bit bare.

[ The room itself is nice though. Recently refurbished, just spartan. ]

I'll work on procuring some more things soon.

It's nice.

[Stanley answers, softly. The room isn't nice. It's a room, and there's part of a bed inside, but no one would call at nice. Except that at the moment, it's everything he needs in a place to crash. So he's not exactly lying, either. It's nice to have it, regardless of how not particularly nice it is.]
